VB.NET DEVELOPER

This is an immediate opportunity for an experienced (5+ years) Visual Basic. NET Developer with a strong understanding of the design and use of relational databases.

We are looking for a team player that is not afraid of challenges and works well in time-sensitive environments.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Developing, testing and documenting existing software application built with VB.Net using Pervasive and MS SQL database technologies.
  • Design of database structure based on client requirements and maturing architecture.
The ideal candidate must have:
  • 5+ years experience with VB.Net
  • 2+ years experience with SQL
  • Experience with creating installation packages
  • Understanding of API tools
  • Excellent communication, multi-tasking, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Eagerness to learn
  • Experience testing/validating software components and system integration points
  • Understanding of business and financial management systems
  • Familiarity with BusinessVision accounting software a definite asset
You will be part of a small software development team working on an accounting-related software project with opportunities to move into new platforms and databases.
