Rowie Walker
founded Rowie Walker & Associates Inc. in Toronto in 1972. The company provided
bookkeeping and accounting services to small to medium businesses in a wide variety
of industries.
In the early eighties, Rowie was a pioneer in the field of computerized accounting
and was an early adopter of New Views and the first recognized BusinessVision partner.
Rowie worked with hundreds of companies in the transition to digital accounting records.
In the mid-nineties, Rowie moved the company to its current location in Toronto and opened
the AnyKey Training Centre to provide classroom lessons on a variety of accounting-related
material with a special focus on the BusinessVision line of solutions.
Rowie has been recognized many times by accounting firms and the profession at large as a
leader in her field – she has led the company to 4 Sage President’s Circle awards and 2
Accounting Technology Pacesetter Awards.

Samantha Walker
joined RW&A in 1999 as the Director of Development concentrating on the newly
released 32-bit version of Sage BusinessVision accounting and business management
software line.
The development department originally focused on report design – the offering now
includes custom software development for web and desktop applications and a line
of 8 published software products. As a recipient of a BusinessVision Visionary award
in 2001, Samantha was recognized for providing exemplary business solutions to
BusinessVision clients.
Samantha currently sits on the Sage Business Partner Advisory Council and the Sage
Development Partner Advisory Council. She also represents Rowie Walker & Associates Inc.
at the bi-annual IT Alliance meetings.
Samantha graduated from Queens University with a degree in Civil Engineering and later
worked as a Geophysical Engineer before obtaining a degree in Object Oriented Software
Technology from the University of Calgary.
