Balgord Software Solutions and Rowie Walker & Associates Inc. Donate Registration Fees to Frontier College

Oakville, ON, CANADA – May 26, 2008 – Balgord Software Solutions and Rowie Walker &
Associates Inc., both software consulting firms specializing in implementing business
management solutions from Sage Software Inc., have donated the registration fees of their
joint client symposium called the Value of Business Intelligence to Frontier College, Canada's
original national literacy organization since 1899.
"I became aware of the revitalization of the New Readers Bookstore working very
closely with Frontier College to integrate it's data into their accounting system",
said Annette Balgord, principal of Balgord Software Solutions. "We felt that this
initiative tied into our 'knowledge-based' symposium theme."
"Our clients were thrilled to know that their registration fees were being donated to
a worthwhile cause," states Rowie Walker, president of Rowie Walker & Associates (RW&A)
located in North York.
"Annette's passion for helping people extends beyond addressing their technology
issues to supporting the goals of their organization", said Eric Plato, Director
of Finance at Frontier College. "We are grateful to receive this donation to the
Frontier College New Readers Bookstore to assist us with bringing cutting-edge
literacy resources to the literacy and learning community in Canada."
Frontier College, the event's featured Charity Partner, was selected to receive
the donation to help support their new Frontier College New Readers Bookstore,
formerly a Laubach Literacy of Canada initiative. The goal of the Frontier College New
Readers Bookstore is to be responsive to the needs expressed by literacy practitioners
in a wide variety of literacy programs by providing them with a wide variety of resources.
The Value of Business Intelligence Symposium held at the Living Arts Centre in Mississauga,
Ontario, welcomed sixty (60) clients who attended informative briefings and training
sessions about managing their organization's business intelligence and turning this data
into actionable knowledge to help them make real-time business decisions.
