Is BusinessVision a batch based system?
BusinessVision is a real-time accounting system, not a batch based system. As transactions are entered into the system, all modules are updated automatically. For example, when an invoice is posted in the Order Entry module, the system automatically updates Accounts Receivable, Customer Details, Inventory Details, Sales Analysis and the General Ledger. Since all BusinessVision accounting software has been designed this way, no month end procedure is required before you can produce financial statements. The General Ledger - and all other parts of the system - are up to date at all times!

Does BusinessVision allow multiple users to enter information simultaneously?
BusinessVision was designed from the ground up to be a robust and reliable multi-user accounting system. Multi-user licenses, called LAN packs, can be added to your BusinessVision system to allow five, users to access your accounting data simultaneously. BusinessVision Client-Server SQL Edition allows ten or more users to simultaneously access your accounting data.

Is there a Canadian version of BusinessVision that handles Canadian tax and payroll issues?
In addition to the American versions, BusinessVision has developed Canadian versions of accounting software products. Some of the features specific to the Canadian version of BusinessVision are:
- Accounts Receivable automatically calculates sales tax and GST/HST
- Accounts Payable automatically calculates and posts GST/HST input tax credits
- Order Entry supports up to 99 tax rates (GST/HST fully supported)
- Payroll automatically calculates Federal tax, Provincial tax, CPP/QPP, EI, Worker's Compensation/CSST, RSP and insurable earnings (all provinces and territories supported)
- Payroll automatically fills out Record of Employment
